Find out about Gophr courier jobs in your area – great earning potential for local same day delivery
Is Gophr Worth It?
Gophr is a UK-based same-day courier platform that pays well per delivery — but work volumes are generally lower than other gig apps like Deliveroo, Just Eat, or Stuart. It’s best used alongside other platforms, rather than as a reliable full-time income.
Many of the jobs available through Gophr involve delivering for familiar names like Screwfix, Superdrug, and Asda Express. For Screwfix, it’s usually picking up small orders for local tradesmen. Superdrug deliveries often involve prescription medication (you’ll need to complete a training module for this). Asda Express jobs are typically small grocery orders similar to Tesco Whoosh. These jobs are usually local, low-stress, and don’t require handling bulky items — making them ideal if you’re using a small car, motorbike, or even a bicycle in urban areas.
One of the major perks of Gophr is the pay. For example, after finishing an Amazon Flex block, I picked up a Gophr job with a collection point near the Amazon depot. It was a single small package delivered less than a mile away — and I earned £14 for that one job. Not bad for 15 minutes of work.
That said, in more rural or suburban areas, Gophr jobs can be scarce. If you’re in a major city like London, Manchester, or Birmingham, you’re more likely to see consistent work, particularly during weekday business hours when corporate clients are most active.
